Conscientization Programme

A conscientization programme was conducted on 17 th January 2024 for the students of Gov. H. S. Kandala on the topic "Importance of Physical Health in Students". The objective of the programme was to increase the student's understanding of the interconnectedness between physical health and overall well- being, emphasizing the significance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and to provide numerous information about the physical health benefits. I explained the students that physical health refers to the overall well- being of the body, encompassing factors such as fitness, nutrition, sleep and the absence of illness or injury. It involves maintaining a balance between various elements to ensure the body functions optimally. I also explained them that in the context of the new generation life style, the importance of physical health is very important.

Then I explained them about the connection between physical health and overall well- being of the students. I then explained them that regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and sufficient sleep not only enhance academic performance but also reduce stress and foster mental resilience. Then I showed them some pictures of exercises in the powerpoint and asked whether any of them do exercise regularly. Some answered 'yes' and some answered 'no'.

I advised them that regular exercise and drinking of water enables their body to remove the toxins, then I discussed them about the benefits of physical health. I conclude my class by telling them that as the future generation, it is the duty of the students to take care of themselves from modern diseases like diabetics, cholestrol, cancer, etc. And for that they have to keep their physical health always improved.
