Last Two Weeks Of My Teaching Practice

Fourth two weeks of our teaching practice started from 22/1/2024 and ended on 2/2/2024. This week was very nice week for me. I got so many experiences and I was able to understand so many values. I have got so many substitution periods and I became friendly with so many students. I have got chance to teach Upper Primary students because of the humble request of the students. I had my discipline duty on all these days. On 24/1/2024, I along with Mahima and Akhil participated in a meeting conducted by the High School teachers to plan and discuss about the Annual Day celebrations of the school which is to be conducted on 29/1/2024, Monday. And on the same day itself, the students were allowed to do their practices on the afternoon sessions. On 25/1/2024, I along with Mahima and Akhil, prepared a rough list for the Annual Day Celebrations. A meeting was conducted along with us and the High School teachers. Various committees were formed for the Annual Day celebration. The day ended up with arrangements and discussions

     Om 26/1/2024, even though it was a National Holiday, we had to go to the school inorder to celebrate the Republic Day. As informed earlier we have reached the school at 10:00 Am. We teacher trainees, along with Head Mistress, some teachers, and SPc cadets assembled in the ground. The PTA president Sri. Manikandan Sir hosted the Indian flag  and he delivered a speech regarding the Republic Day. The Head Mistress distributed sweets to the students present there. The Senior Assistant teacher of the school Rayhana teacher and HM of the school also delivered good speeches about Republic Day. The celebrations of the Republic Day extended upto 10:30 Am.

      The Annual Day celebrations was conducted on 29/1/2024. In Addition to the function, there was an inauguration of Herbal Garden in the school campus. The functions were headed by the District Panchayath President, Block Panchayath President, PTA members and the Head Mistress and the Ward member. The function was com paired by Suhaima of class IX and Vidush of class X A. The Herbal Garden was inaugurated at 9:30 Am and the Annual Day celebration was inaugurated at 10:30 Am. The cultural programmes were started at 11:00 Am. Kindergarten students, Lower Primary students, Upper Primary students and High School students were participated equally in the program without any gender bias. The students were able to showcase their innermost talents and skills. The prizes for best students of each classes and for the winners of arts fest, science exhibition and other various competitions were also distributed on this occasion.

       On 30/1/2024, there was an assembly after the prayer and pledge, the HM delivered the importance of Martyr's Day and given some advices from Mahatma Gandhi's life. After that several students from class X delivered different speeches which helped the students to impart various Gandhian values in their lives. After the official assembly, the HM,  school teachers, we the teacher trainees, school leader, and classs leader flowered the  picture of Mahatma Gandhi. 2/2/2024 was the last day of out teaching practice, the students were very sad and distracted. Before leaving the school, I went to V B, V A, VI B, VII B, VII A and IX B  classes for informing them that today is the last class of mime for them. After informing the details of our aim regarding the teaching practice, I left the classes with a hope in my mind that I could met them somewhere sometime. We left the school at 4:00 Pm after a small school meeting arranged by the HM along with the UP and HS teachers. They appreciated our hardwork and perseverance  and they told us some tips to be followed as a teacher. And at the end, as a tocken of love, we shared laddoos for them.

Second Two Weeks of My Teaching Practice Phase II

       The next two weeks of my teaching practice started from 3-7-2024 to 15/7/2024.  These two weeks also went on well by giving me new experiences and new lessons. I was able to complete my portions accurately for these two weeks also. Students were crazy in making fun of each other. They learnt well by making mistakes and ensured that students should learn things from their mistakes and then only they will remember it forever in their lives. Unit test was conducted for the students this week and I was instructed to monitor them while writing exams. And I was very happy to do so and I felt myself as a teacher not as a teacher trainee.
