Second Two Weeks of My Teaching Practice Phase II

     The next two weeks of my teaching practice started from 3-7-2024 to 15/7/2024.  These two weeks also went on well by giving me new experiences and new lessons. I was able to complete my portions accurately for these two weeks also. Students were crazy in making fun of each other. They learnt well by making mistakes and ensured that students should learn things from their mistakes and then only they will remember it forever in their lives. Unit test was conducted for the students this week and I was instructed to monitor them while writing exams. And I was very happy to do so and I felt myself as a teacher not as a teacher trainee. While I was conducting exams for them, they tried to copy answers from others but I advised them not to copy and instead try to write answers by their own. 

     
     This week I was able to complete writing my lesson plans in records and making teaching aids. I felt that ICT classrooms are better for teaching students rather than following traditional methods.  When I asked the students about it, they also answered me that they felt learning easy and interesting while learning this in an ICT enabled classroom. But they loved to see and learn things through hand made teaching aids. And thus I identified that Blended learning is most suitable for teaching students.

     On 11-7-2024 and 12-7-2024, Sports Day was conducted in the school as informed earlier. Competition for certain items are scheduled to be conducted on 11-7-2024 including running race, football, relay, etc. On the first day, the competition was started after the inaugural function by the Head Mistress and the Physical Training teacher Mr. Gladwin. It was started at 10 Am  and was ended at 3:30 Pm. The students were very enthusiastic and energetic. Most of the students participated in various competitions. The first and second prize winners were awarded with certificates, gold and silver medals. Several sport competitions was conducted on 12/7/2024 such as volleyball, relay, kho-kho. This also students were very happy, energetic, enthusiastic and interested in competing various sports and games.  On the second day, the competitions was started at 10:30 Am and ended at 3:30 Pm. These two days were great days for me. I enjoyed the day with extreme pleasure and energy by conducting the Annual Sports Meet of K.P.M.H.S .Krishnapuram along with the school teachers. The day gifted me a very new experience and I am very thankful for that. I was able to realize that it is very difficult to conduct sports day in schools. Both the days made me recall my good old days.

Last Two Weeks Of My Teaching Practice

Fourth two weeks of our teaching practice started from 22/1/2024 and ended on 2/2/2024. This week was very nice week for me. I got so many experiences and I was able to understand so many values. I have got so many substitution periods and I became friendly with so many students. I have got chance to teach Upper Primary students because of the humble request of the students. I had my discipline duty on all these days. On 24/1/2024, I along with Mahima and Akhil participated in a meeting conducted by the High School teachers to plan and discuss about the Annual Day celebrations of the school which is to be conducted on 29/1/2024, Monday. And on the same day itself, the students were allowed to do their practices on the afternoon sessions. On 25/1/2024, I along with Mahima and Akhil, prepared a rough list for the Annual Day Celebrations. A meeting was conducted along with us and the High School teachers.
