School Based Activity Report

The school's dynamic educational landscape is characterized by a diverse array of initiatives aimed at fostering holistic student development. The Student Police Cadet (SPC) project, a collaborative effort by the Kerala Police and various government departments, empowers high school students with a two-year training program encompassing physical, emotional, and social skills development. This initiative not only instills discipline and respect for the law but also nurtures civic consciousness and empathy.

The Global Opportunities Through English Communication (GOTEC) project, in association with the District Centre for English, focuses on enhancing students' English language proficiency. Through engaging activities, professional training sessions, and competitions, GOTEC equips students with valuable language skills and exposes them to diverse perspectives in English education.

The Mid-Day Meal Programme, administered by the Ministry of Education, stands as a landmark initiative providing nutritious meals to school children. Beyond addressing malnutrition, it acts as a powerful incentive for regular attendance and contributes to a positive school environment, promoting social inclusivity.

Complementing these programs is the inclusion of Taekwondo classes, a Korean martial art and combat sport. These classes, held after school hours, not only serve as a form of physical exercise but also instill self-defense skills. The dedication of students to Taekwondo is reflected in their participation and success in various competitions.

Despite funding challenges, these initiatives have flourished, impacting thousands of students. The school's commitment to holistic education, community engagement, and the development of responsible citizens is evident in the success and reach of these diverse programs.
