First Two Weeks Of My Teaching Experience

      I have chosen Government High School Kandala for my Phase I teaching practice. We had already collected our portions on 15-11-2023 . We were ten students from our school for teaching practice at Kandala school. It started from November 20 th 2023.On the first day I was little bit tensed because of the new atmosphere. It was a very new experience for me. I had concern about the new teachers and students behaviour with me. But I became comfortable when I interacted with them. I was assigned with 9 th B class for teaching. When I first entered the class, the students were very noisy and they were giving less attention to my class. But gradually I have improved the sessions more interactive and they started listening and enjoying my teaching.  After one week the students became more attentive. 


     The Headmistress and the teachers at this school had given good attention in students education and ensured each student is taken care of their strength and weakness .Various programs and scholarships were conducted in school such as GOTEC (Global Opportunities Through English Communication), NMMS, USS, SPC etc. Thus it is evident that the school aims at ensuring the overall development of the children.

Second Two Weeks of My Teaching Practice Phase II

       The next two weeks of my teaching practice started from 3-7-2024 to 15/7/2024.  These two weeks also went on well by giving me new experiences and new lessons. I was able to complete my portions accurately for these two weeks also. Students were crazy in making fun of each other. They learnt well by making mistakes and ensured that students should learn things from their mistakes and then only they will remember it forever in their lives. Unit test was conducted for the students this week and I was instructed to monitor them while writing exams. And I was very happy to do so and I felt myself as a teacher not as a teacher trainee. Last Two Weeks Of My Teaching Practice

Fourth two weeks of our teaching practice started from 22/1/2024 and ended on 2/2/2024. This week was very nice week for me. I got so many experiences and I was able to understand so many values. I have got so many substitution periods and I became friendly with so many students. I have got chance to teach Upper Primary students because of the humble request of the students. I had my discipline duty on all these days. On 24/1/2024, I along with Mahima and Akhil participated in a meeting conducted by the High School teachers to plan and discuss about the Annual Day celebrations of the school which is to be conducted on 29/1/2024, Monday. And on the same day itself, the students were allowed to do their practices on the afternoon sessions. On 25/1/2024, I along with Mahima and Akhil, prepared a rough list for the Annual Day Celebrations. A meeting was conducted along with us and the High School teachers.
