Embarking on the path of education

My first student interaction started from Government Higher Secondary School, Marayamuttom as part of the school induction programme. As I stepped into the classrooms of the school on a bright Monday morning, a mix of excitement and nervousness filled the air. The eager faces of the young students stared back at me, their curiosity palpable. I introduced myself, and the classroom slowly warmed up to my presence.
The initial moments were a whirlwind of introductions and establishing rapport. The children's enthusiasm was contagious, and their questions and energy kept me on my toes. I vividly remember the joy on their faces when they grasped the content that  I had delivered to them correctly. It was in those small victories that I found my own sense of fulfillment as a teacher. Over time, Marayamuttom School became not just a workplace but a community where I learned as much from my students as I taught them. The challenges were there, but so were the rewards, making that first teaching experience a memorable and transformative journey in my life.
