The warmth of festive cheer as PTM College of Education transformed into a magical wonderland for our Christmas celebration in 2023. We immersed ourselves in the spirit of the season with dazzling decorations, joyous carols, and heartwarming camaraderie. We were creating long lasting memories together, fostering a sense of unity and happiness as we celebrated the magic of Christmas in our educational heaven.

 The school's dynamic educational landscape is characterized by a diverse array of initiatives aimed at fostering holistic student development. The Student Police Cadet (SPC) project, a collaborative effort by the Kerala Police and various government departments, empowers high school students with a two-year training program encompassing physical, emotional, and social skills development. This initiative not only instills discipline and respect for the law but also nurtures civic consciousness and empathy. The Global Opportunities Through English Communication (GOTEC) project, in association with the District Centre for English, focuses on enhancing students' English language proficiency.  Field trips are essential for bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, offering students a unique platform to explore real-world scenarios and foster a holistic approach to education. Recognizing this importance,  PTM College of Education Maruthoorkonam embarked on a 10- day journey from November 4th to November 13th, 2023, blending academic learning with hands-on experiences.      Commencing in Delhi, renowned for its rich history and architectural marvels, the group immersed themselves in cultural treasures. The itinerary then led to the serene town of kulu, nestled in Himalayas, providing a contrasting backdrop to Delhi's bustling city life.       I have chosen Government High School Kandala for my Phase I teaching practice. We had already collected our portions on 15-11-2023 . We were ten students from our school for teaching practice at Kandala school. It started from November 20 th 2023.On the first day I was little bit tensed because of the new atmosphere. It was a very new experience for me. I had concern about the new teachers and students behaviour with me. But I became comfortable when I interacted with them. I was assigned with 9 th B class for teaching. When I first entered the class, the students were very noisy and they were giving less attention to my class.
